This weekend, right along side the start of October, really came Fall. The temps were in the 40's most of the weekend, along with some rain and the leaves starting to turn everywhere you look. It's a nice change of pace and feels very much like fall. And every weekend in October is chalk full of different festivals and events for families. Apple butter festivals, pumpkin and apple picking events, octoberfests, autumn celebrations are among the few. And they don't just have one, it seems every little town has it's own and so there is a lot of celebrating going on. We headed up to Dayton Days in a small amish town about 30 miles north where there was good food, music and lots of crafts and woodwork. It was a fun day.
A few little crafty things I picked up from the festival, so happy to find those dishtowels! Seeing all the beautiful crafts there really made me want to find my sewing machine in the stack of boxes and start up again..soon I hope!
