Our first snow came late Friday afternoon and snowed right on through to Saturday afternoon. It doesn't normally snow here in October, but it was very exciting for us to have snow right outside our front door for a weekend full of playing.
We woke up Saturday morning to see a few more inches had smoothly covered the ground that night and it was all there and ready for some fun. The kids had never seen snow before, so it was a pretty exciting event.
We didn't really have all the snow gear ready, but we made do with some rainboots and wool socks. It was a lot of fun, daddy may have had the most throwing snowballs with all the neighborhood boys..Madilyn and her friend, Catherine made a cute little snowman in our driveway.
Not seeing snow very often it was a nice change of pace and neat to us how snow can make everything seems so still and peaceful just looking out the window in the morning, it was very pretty and we are looking forward to some more snow days this winter.
