We had 7 inches of snowfall yesterday. It was so beautiful and peaceful to watch the sunrise out our backdoor this morning. We could hear the birds singing and the soft white powder was shimmering and sparkling with the sun. Everything was so still and pretty, I could have sat there and watched out this way all day long, but well, there was snow to play in, of course. By about 8am this morning we were all geared up and out in the thick of it all, having a blast making snowmen and stomping around. Little Avery finally got to get down, touch, EAT! and play in the snow, he thought it was pretty cool stuff and didn't want to come inside for a break at all. I'm sure today will be very full of snow, the most amazing chicken noodle soup that has been keeping us warm all weekend long and as much hot chocolate as these kiddos can drink.
