It is officially spring, whether the calendar says so or not. Having a few warm days around here has taken my recent excitement for blooming flowers ten fold. We've been so lucky to see a quick abundance of life and color all around us. The greenery is starting to come back as it was when we first moved here, flowers are shooting up and blooming in every direction, the birds are out and singing, small animals are seen running about, butterflies have been spotted again at the park and as with all of these, the bugs are making themselves known again too, one stink bug at a time. It really is so lovely to watch all the changes happening, the busyness of spring is very present and it reminds me of exactly why this is my most favorite time of year.
