Our weekend was full to the brim with laughing, playing, smiling, sunshine, good friends and family, it was perfect. And there is a sweet little boy, who blew us all away this weekend. Jesse is so shy on the outside, but at home or with his close friends he sparkles and lights up our world, really. He has the sweetest heart, so kind and gentle, especially to his little brother and sister. James and I find ourselves often, just sitting back and appreciating him and all that he brings to our family, we're very lucky. Shine on, sweet boy!
And while finding ourselves spending so much time outside this past week, we have been able to really appreciate the amazingness of nature all around us. It' s only taken one week of warm weather for all the spring magic to happen, the beauty of it all is truly breathtaking.
And along side soaking up all this beauty and sunshine, we had to spend bits and pieces of our weekend packing up boxes. Luckily for us, we're getting pretty good at it by now. But the time is coming closer for us, as tomorrow marks one week before we head back out west, back home. This move is so bittersweet, there are some amazing kind people we will dearly miss and some things about this adventure we will never forget, but on the other side of it all, there is so very much to look forward to for us. So many people and family we have missed and there's something very special about going home.
The kids seem to be taking it very well and continue to live in the moment, enjoying everyday as our adventure continues. Oh there's lots to look forward to..
