The kids helped him build it from redwood, to match their house and this weekend they took two trips to the hardware store for play sand and bought all the sand they had. Still need a few more trips to fill it up, but for now there is plenty to play with. It's been a huge hit. Today we added some seashells to the sand and they had fun digging them up.
Pretty sure our backyard has turned into the coolest new park and we don't even have to get dressed to play! The sandbox and play structure are also shaded from the time we wake up until about 2pm, so it makes this a cool shady spot to come to. Some lucky kids they are!
